05/01/2005: "Yankees are a disaster."

Steinbrenner is going to do some damage this week. Being 7.5 games back on the first day of May wasn't exactly what he was thinking about when he signed a payroll the same size as the GDP of most African countries. If Tampa Bay get's ahead of them, he will fire everyone down to the ticket takers at the turnstyles. Do think they'll end up contending as the Red Sox pitching looks grim especially without Schilling and I don't think the Orioles and that freak Brian Roberts can continue at the pace they are going. Either way still pretty amazing that the best that money can buy is getting the crap kicked out of them.
